Professor LIM Cher Ping

Chair Professor, Department of Curriculum and Instruction

Professor Lim Cher Ping is committed to studying how information and communication technologies enable and enhance access to quality education and lifelong learning. He is particularly engaged in working with key education stakeholders to ensure the sustainability and scalability of such learning innovations in the education ecological system.

Since 2015/16, Professor Lim’s research, which is based on the institutional blended learning framework, has contributed significantly to the transformation of pedagogical practices and policies in higher education institutions (HEIs), especially in the Asia-Pacific region. These research studies were funded by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the Human Capital & Education for Asian Development (HEAD) Foundation (Singapore), the International Development Research Centre (IDRC – Canada), the University Grants Committee (Hong Kong), and EdUHK.
