Dr Wang’s teaching philosophy, encompassed in the acronym “MERIT”, captures the essence of her comprehensive educational approach. MERIT stands for Motivation, Emotions, Retention, and Innovation in Teaching. Dr Wang has also designed and implemented supplementary workshops that equip students with strategies to foster an emotionally healthy classroom environment for their future students.

Beyond her teaching endeavours, Dr Wang is also deeply invested in enhancing her teaching practices through continual research in the MERIT areas. Her research and teaching are interwoven, with both areas informing and influencing each other. The findings are used to refine and advance her teaching practices.
